In addition to the existing Potbelly’s Sandwich Shop in Vintage Park, Cypress native Ralph Baig is opening a brand new franchise at the intersection of FM 2920 and SH 249. With the Grand Parkway coming to town, and new neighborhoods sprouting up all over, we’re thinking this is a wise choice of location.
“I have always dreamed of opening a Potbelly Sandwich Shop in the Houston area that the community could rally around,” Ralph Baig said. “Having worked for Potbelly for several years, I am thrilled to share the mouthwatering sandwiches and shakes with the community. I know my neighbors are going to love the new shop.”
Tomball Potpourri reports: Currently slated to open in late summer, the 2,000-square-foot shop will be located in Tomball Marketplace at 14215 FM 2920 Road, at the intersection of SH 249 and FM 2920. The widely acclaimed neighborhood hangout is known for its signature sandwiches, hand-dipped milkshakes and live, local music.
FAQ: The first Potbelly’s was opened in 1996, by an ambitious, entrepreneurial young gentleman named Bryant Keil, off Lincoln Avenue in Chicago, Illinois.
