Spring Texas Children Pack 40,000 Meals for Families in Need, Raise $16,000 for Charity

These awesome little kids at Theiss Elementary recently participated in a charitable project in which they filled bags and packaged meals to be donated to local families in need and sent overseas to needy people in the Philippines.

With the help of Harvest Pack, a non-profit organization that helps provide nutritious meals to those in need around the world, Theiss students as well as the Klein High Volleyball team and the National Honor Society helped organize, fill and package more than 40,000 meals.

Locally, their meals will be donated to St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Tomball, The Houston Food Bank, and Bridging for Tomorrow. Over $16,000 was raised through this effort!

This event was hosted by the Theiss Elementary PTO. For more information on Harvest Pack, click here and to view photos of the event, click here.
