Are ya hungry? Thirsty? You will be after reading this. On Wednesday, April 1, Local Pour will be opening a second location; a new restaurant and upscale bar in The Woodlands. All y’all beer aficionados will be happy to know that they’ll be pouring a whopping 48 draft beers. There will be selections from many local breweries, plus a crave-inducing menu of edibles made of fresh ingredients from local farms and ranches.
Houston Chronicle reports: The big news about the new Local Pour is the food menu, a crave-worthy collaboration between the company’s corporate chef Pablo Gomez and consulting chef Randy Evans, who since his Haven closed has been busy launching or consulting a number of restaurant projects.
The menu sports some Local Pour favorites, but is distinguished by new international flavors and a burst of local freshness courtesy of the chefs’ work with local farmers and purveyors. Look for proteins from 44 Farms, Gulf Seafood, and fresh produce from Atkinson Farms. The chefs endeavored to put the “local” in Local Pour.
