Houston Baptist University Hosts Annual HBU Writers’ Conference, April 10 & 11

Houston Baptist University’s ever-growing HBU Writers’ Conference takes place this year on Friday, April 10 and Saturday, April 11, with open for registration to all, including writers, artists, teachers, students, and home-school groups.The full schedule is available here, and the conference is open for registration. Tickets for one attendee are $35, and group rates are available.

Garret Johnson, Assistant Professor of Writing and Mass Communications, says, “We have some amazing speakers again, headlined by award-winning poet Scott Cairns. One new feature this year is the opportunity for educators to receive TEA-recognized Continuing Professional Education (CPE) hours. But all are welcome; our schedule covers a huge diversity of topics, and all writers, teachers, and artists—of all stages—will find something to interest them.”
