Debbie Riddle Passes House Bill 372: Sex Offender Online Activity Will Be Monitored

On Monday afternoon, Rep. Debbie Riddle (R) unanimously passed House Bill 372. The bill will empower law enforcement to monitor the internet activities of sex offenders who have been placed on community supervision, released on parole, or who are under mandatory supervision.

“This will help tremendously in keeping our communities safe from predators,” Riddle said via her Facebook page.

The bill was passed unanimously.

The photos in this article show Mrs. Riddle gathering her documents before approaching the podium to speak, after which the bill received unanimous support with 100% present voting “Yes.”

“Thank you for letting me serve you in the State House,” said Riddle. “Together we do good things.”
