Cities across Texas are vying for your patronage during Texas Travel & Tourism Week, May 2-10. We know there are so many awesome places to choose from, so we’re here to clear up the confusion: GO TO TOMBALL. Not convinced? Read on.

The Southern Comfort Cafe is a mom-and-pop eatery on Main Street, between Pine and Cherry Street. They serve all your favorites from fresh grilled burgers to homemade strawberry shortcake.

Tomball is celebrating Texas Travel & Tourism Week with fun activities such as the FREE Rails & Tails Mudbug Festival. That’s two full days of music, food, and fun celebrating tasty mudbugs. The Fab 5, Waylon Thibodeaux, Bayou Roux, The Allen Oldies Band, Kelly McGuire,The Grateful Geezers, and others, are booked to perform.

That’s May 2 & 3, starting at 11:30 AM. Admission & Parking are FREE.

Other events are scheduled throughout the week, but “Why?” ask we! Tomball’s regular assortment of friendly locals, quaint antique stores, home-cookin’ restaurants, Texas country setting, and Bed & Breakfasts should be enough to draw tourists any day of the year, rain or shine. So yeah, come on over y’all.
