Welcome to our first guest column, Fitness Tips With Tara! It’s a new health and exercise series we’re launching with fitness expert, Tara Campbell (NASM, CPT). We only have one body and we need to take care of it. Starting off with 20 minutes of cardiovascular activity a day, and 10 min of body resistant strength training (such as squats, push-ups, triceps dips, and planks) will have a tremendous impact on how you feel.
Take baby steps to change your lifestyle. Once you do, your body will want it and you will be able to go longer, and lift heavier.
It’s not a diet, it’s not a workout, It’s a LIFESTYLE. Make your body a priority. Take care of it and it will take care of you.
You will be sore at first. You will be tired. Embrace it! You are working hard and doing right by your body. No one regrets leaving the gym after training. They regret not walking into those doors in the first place.
