Potbelly Sandwich Shop Opens In Tomball, Donates Over $500 To Tomball High School Project Prom

Potbelly Sandwich Shop is known for their great sandwiches, hand-dipped milkshakes and live local music. Their original location was founded as an antique store in Chicago in 1977. Now, the popular franchise has branched out, and Ralph Baig, owner, said Tomball was his first choice for the new location.

“I am very familiar with the area and Tomball is growing really fast,” said Ralph. “It has so much potential. While I was working at the Woodlands location people would come from Tomball just to get a great sandwich, however they would always ask when we were getting a store in their area.”

Our personal menu favorites are Potbelly’s Mediterranean Sandwich with dollops of hummus, tangy feta, and roasted red bell peppers, and The Meatball with it’s Italian herbs drowning in Provolone.

The 2,000-square-foot sandwich shop opened briefly on Monday August 3 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and donated their $500+ in proceeds to Project Prom 2016 for Tomball High School. Now, they’re open for keeps, from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM every day. They plan to start booking live local music on Monday evenings in the near future.
