Do you think if I hashtagged my “Beach Bacteria Bulletin” #BBB the Better Business Bureau would be upset? Probably better not to risk it … Anyhow, here are five Texas beaches that have tested Dangerously High for Bacteria Levels, and that you’d probably want to avoid this weekend:
- Pabst Road, Galveston
- Spanish Grant Blvd., Galveston
- Hershey Beach, Galveston
- 11 Mile Road, Galveston
- Pirates Beach Drive, Galveston
All these beaches are along the same area in Galveston, just off San Louis Pass Road (FM 3005), northeast of Jamaica Beach and Galveston Island State Park. Speaking of which, there are a number of beaches testing Medium High for Bacteria in the Jamaica Beach and Galveston Island State Park areas.
