Texas Recall Alerts For Cucumbers, HEB Bottled Water, & Johnsonville Sausage

Yesterday – on top of the massive cucumber recall on account of salmonella contamination – two very popular products were recalled. Here’s what you need to know to keep your family safe:

HEB 1 Gallon Bottled Water

HEB has issued a voluntary recall on gallon jugs of Hill Country Fare Spring Water with a Best Buy Date of Dec.19, 2015. The bottles could contain a milk allergen that might trigger an allergic reaction in those with dairy sensitivities. So far, no one has gotten sick; HEB product assurance tests turned up the issue.

Johnsonville Grillers Sausage

The following Johnsonville Grillers products have been reported by a number of customers to contain small fragments of metal. Brand owners, Kenosha Beef of Wisconsin, are working to determine the source of the shards.

  • 24-oz. cartons of Johnsonville Grillers Cheddar Cheese & Bacon Flavor
  • 13.5-lb. cases of Johnsonville Grillers Cheddar Cheese & Bacon Flavor (which contain nine 24-oz. cartons)

It’s so important folks know about these recalls so that they can check their fridge and pantry. Please share this article with your friends and family on Facebook. Thanks!
