Harris County Commissioners recently voted to rename Horsepen Creek Park in honor of Deputy Darren Goforth.

The park is located at 9118 Wheat Cross near West Road and Barker Cypress, roughly two miles from the gas station where Deputy Goforth was murdered.

Deputy Darren Goforth Park features a beautiful lake, hiking trails, bike trails, a dog park, and a playground with jungle gyms.
