An adorable little boy who’s been battling cancer for over six months was honored on Monday by the men and women who are his super heroes.

Twenty-month-old Creighton Eilliott Heslop’s doctors say that his treatment thus far has been unsuccessful, but his parents, family, and friends remain hopeful.

“It’s times like these where you remember why you took this oath of office. It’s also times like these where you wash your troubles away as you see this family celebrate the life of their son.” – Tomball Police Department

He’s always been fascinated by police officers, so at the recent Tomball City Council meeting, officials gave Creighton a custom-made Tomball Police Officer uniform, and the City Mayor Gretchen Fagan declared October 19, “Creighton Celebration of Life Day.”

The little guy also received a badge, and Police Chief Billy Tidwell swore him in as an honorary member of the Tomball Police Department.
