Tomball & Magnolia Christmas Events Kick Off This Weekend!

As the countdown grows shorter, the cities of Tomball and Magnolia are getting in the holiday spirit with several family-friendly events this weekend.

The Tomball German Christmas Market will be open Friday through Sunday.

Tomball German Christmas Market

The Tomball Sister City Organization hosts the annual festival celebrating Tomball’s German heritage. The event includes live music and German food and drinks as well as 175 street merchants selling arts and crafts, gifts and souvenirs. The festival extends through Saturday and Sunday.

Sunday, Dec. 13, 10AM – 6 PM

The Candlelight Tours at the Spring Creek Historical Museum feature live music.


Magnolia Christmas Parade

The Greater Magnolia Chamber of Commerce hosts the 26th annual Christmas parade through the city. The parade route will begin at Magnolia Junior High School and continue along Unity Park Drive before ending at Goodson Road and Sixth Street.

The parade begins at 10AM. Parade watchers are encouraged to arrive no later than 9:45 AM due to road closures on Nichols Sawmill Road. Parking is available in Unity Park.

Magnolia Hometown Christmas Market and Festival

Following the parade, the Magnolia Historical Society hosts the market and festival at the Williams Pavilion in Unity Park. The festival includes vendors, cookie decorating, games and a visit from Santa Claus.

Tomball Christmas on Commerce

To close out the weekend, the city of Tomball hosts the annual festival on Commerce Street. The event includes live entertainment, food, vendors, crafts and activities and a visit from Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus.
