Café Marrese: Best Coffee House in Northwest Houston!

If you want to enjoy the best coffee, breakfast, and pastries in Northwest Houston, Café Marrese is a very safe bet. The little family owned cafe is poshly decorated and serves up a delicious assortment of breakfast favorites including steel cut oatmeal, hearty omelets, savory breakfast wraps, and of course combination plates including ever-popular items like bacon, eggs, waffles, and sausage.

Lunch presents a healthy selection of paninis, sandwiches, soups, and salads. There is a select wine and beer menu. Dinner boasts an elegant menu including fancy salads, wraps, beef ribs, roasted chicken, and specialty sandwiches. But don’t forget dessert!

Skipping dessert at Café Marrese should probably be considered a crime. While the menu is small – comprised of just chocolate cake, carrot cake, and cheese cake – they are ridiculously delicious and indulgently homemade.

However, the signature of Café Marrese is their quintessential coffee. Their brews are bold and robust. You will not find a better mug at Starbucks, Panera, or any other mainstream coffee or breakfast establishment. In fact, after trying Café Marrese’s coffee, you’ll likely consider your current favorite bean brand inferior.

Custom coffee drinks include The Marrese, The Cuban, and The Breve. We can’t recommend one over the other, seeing as they all go great with that amazing carrot cake.

Like most family owned businesses, Café Marrese keeps special hours, that have been slowly expanding over the past year as the eatery grows in popularity. Be sure to visit Tuesday through Friday between 6:30 AM and 4:00 PM. On weekends they’re open 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Dinner is served Friday and Saturday evening between 5:00 and 9:00 PM.
