Houston Men Ride Horses Through Walmart, Shock Security Guards

A live horse isn’t typically one of those things. That’s right, two guys thought it would be hilarious to ride horses through Walmart this past weekend. No one was hurt, and it seems nothing was damaged. Woody and Woodrow Fields were out horseback riding through the Houston Galleria area when it occurred to them that clopping through Walmart would be funny. And yeah, they made a video.

In the video (which contains some NSFW language) Woody laughs and notes, “Walmart! Always low prices!”

Walmart shoppers look shocked. Walmart workers look mildly surprised (can you imagine the things those people have already seen?). Walmart security guards look downright confused and unsure what to do.

If Walmart didn’t have a rule against horses in the store before, they do now.

If you’ve got little kids around or are at work, this video is just as entertaining with the volume off:[/cs_text][/cs_column][/cs_row][cs_row inner_container=”false” marginless_columns=”false” style=”margin: 0px auto;padding: 0px;”][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/1″ style=”padding: 0px;”][x_video_embed no_container=”true” type=”16:9″]

Horses can easily become spooked, endangering not only themselves, but also any shoppers they might encounter. The Houston Humane Society urges all pet owners to think and act responsibly when it comes to the lives of animals in their care.”

Thankfully Woody’s horse seems remarkably well trained and is apparently used to crowds. He and his friends rode all aver the Galleria area, past restaurants, waterfalls, and crowds of curious onlookers.

While we don’t recommend cantering through stores, it is rather ironic that a man on horseback would ever be a surprising site in Texas.
