Veteran? Family? Need a Job? This Tomball Job Fair “Hiring Event” Happens April 29

This job fair in Tomball is open – not only to veterans – but to their family members as well. Featured employers include both traditional and non-traditional companies. All of them have immediate job openings and they’re motivated and ready to hire.

Unlike other events, organizers are calling this job fair a “hiring event.” Employer’s open positions run the range of Traditional Hourly Worker, Salaried Worker, Supervisor, Managerial, and Executive openings. They need employees with all levels of skill, education, and experience sought. In addition, there is a large number of Non-Traditional Employers who offer work from home, contract, and flex-hour positions.

The job fair will feature highly successful Veteran and Non-Veteran Entrepreneurs on hand to offer advice regarding starting your own business. Unlike many event tailored only to veterans, this job fair will offer choices and opportunities for the entire eligible income earning family.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
You must be at least 18 years of age, a US Citizen, and a veteran of US Military Service or a Family Member of a US Military Veteran. Please bring appropriate ID (Drivers License, Passport, Proof of US Citizenship and a Copy 4 of your DD214).

What are my transportation / parking options for getting to and from the event?
Ample Parking Available, No Fees to Park

What can I bring into the event?
Bring your Current Resume, Proof of US Citizenship, DD214 for Veterans, Position Application Information, and wear Appropriate Attire for an Interview. DO NOT BRING children below the Age of 18, Alcoholic Beverages, Firearms, or Items that require Storage or Guarding.

What’s the refund policy?
Employers committing to the event through payment for booth space will not be eligible for a refund. We suggest you have at least two primary company representatives and one back-up representative. Booth space is limited and once reserved cannot be refunded. Job Seekers; there is no charge to any Job Seeker attending.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
We recommend that you do for each member attending but be prepared to present a digital copy on your Smart-Device along with your name and contact information for verification.

Can I update my registration information?
Yes at any time through Event-Brite

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
Employers – No
Job Seekers – As long as the transferee meets the requirements of a Veteran or Family Member of a Veteran

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn’t match the person who attends?
Yes, as long as they meet the criteria of a Veteran or Family Member of a Veteran
