FREE Kid’s STEM Event: Lone Star College Cy-Fair

On Saturday, April 29, stop by Lone Star College Cy-Fair Conference Center for a fun morning of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) learning activities. Kids ages 5 to 12 will enjoy a STEMtastic time! Pre-service teachers will host this hands-on educational event, in partnership with the Lone Star College Cy-Fair Children’s Library. Complimentary exploration activities will be given to all participants.

Children aged 5 to 10 will enjoy STEMtastic stations that introduce and explore science, technology, engineering, and math in a fun and engaging way. 9 to 12 year olds are invited to attend the “Power Hour” in which they’ll learn about solar power and renewable energy.

Free tickets will be available at the reference desk in the Kids Corner one hour prior to each session. Parents must accompany their children. There’s a limit of 20 kids per session.

10am-10:50 AM: 5-6 year olds
11am-11:50 AM: 7-10 year olds
1pm-2:30 PM: 9-12 year olds (Power Hour)
