Well this sounds flipping amazing. It’s a five course dinner pairing Murdoch’s Backyard Pub edibles with Saint Arnold Brewery‘s famous drinkables. But these aren’t Murdoch’s regular menu items. The chefs are pulling out all the stops and getting gourmet artsy on us!
It all starts out with a refreshing soup and an Ale Wagger. Soup is followed by a fresh seafood platter featuring grilled fennel, green papaya, and coconut cream froth in a peanut and wasabi sandbox with Art Car IPA. Next comes venison and wild mushroom wellington paired with assorted veggies and Saint Arnold Amber. Following this is chevre cheese (my favorite!) with fig marmalade (O.M.G.), candied nuts, toast, and a Summer Pilsener. Finally, Bishop’s Barrel No. 16 is paired with a mystery dessert.
You have no idea how much I want to go to this.
