23 Beaches Test High for Fecal Bacteria, Memorial Day Weekend

Ugg! Just in time for the long Memorial Day Weekend, Texas Beach Watch has announced that 23 beaches have tested hazardously high for fecal bacteria. An additional 16 beaches have tested “Medium” which is less than ideal, and a relevant health concern for families with young children, diabetics, and anyone with a compromised immune system.
