Houston: Move Cars For Debris & Trash Pickup

In the wake of devastating flooding from Hurricane Harvey, many residents have mammoth piles of trash and debris on their front lawns. The City of Houston Solid Waste Management Department is asking residents to remove all parked vehicles from the streets so debris crews can begin trash pickup in your neighborhood.

Debris should be placed close to the side of the road away from mailboxes, trees, meters, fire hydrants and other structures. Please do not place debris in the roadway.

If trash pickup and debris crews are unable to pass safely along the streets, they will not be able to remove your debris.
