Park to Port Bike Ride & Party Celebrates Spirit of Houston

On Saturday, October 7, 2017, Hermann Park Conservancy will host the fourth annual Park to Port Bike Ride. The ride starts at 6:55 AM in Hermann Park and travel east along Brays Bayou Greenway Trail to the Port of Houston. There, the Port of Houston is sponsoring a “turn around celebration featuring music, snacks, and activities at Brady’s Landing.

On the ride back, cyclists will follow the Brays Bayou Greenway Trail to Herman Park, where there will be a post-ride celebration featuring music, food, drinks, and more.

WHO: Hermann Park Conservancy

  • Harris County Precinct One Commissioner Rodney Ellis, starting off ride at 6:55 a.m.
  • Houston City Controller Chris Brown, speaking at post-ride celebration at 11:30 a.m.

WHEN: Saturday, October 7, 2017

  • 7 – 9 a.m. Rolling start at Bill Coats Bridge in Hermann Park
  • 9 – 10:30 a.m. Brady’s Landing Turn-Around Party, sponsored by Port Houston
  • 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Post-ride celebration at Bill Coats Bridge in Hermann Park

WHERE: Ride begins and ends at the Bill Coats Bridge in Hermann Park and travels to the Port of Houston and back along the Brays Bayou Greenway Trail

REGISTRATION & MORE INFO: $35, on-site registration is available the day of the ride. All proceeds benefit Hermann Park Conservancy.
